Pip, our Educator, and Harold just love traveling around the ‘Heartland’ of Otago and Southland visiting all of the fabulous children at their schools. The map shows the places we visit, so as you can see, Pip and Harold travel a lot of kilometres through to some pretty amazing places to deliver the Life Education programmes to almost every school in our region.
Our Trustees are from throughout the region, and are very committed to looking after Harold, Pip and the mobile classroom, so that they can bring the important Life Education messages to all of our schools.
Our participating schools are charged a minimal fee per child. As we are a charitable trust and receive no government funding, the remaining 70% of our substantial annual running costs are raised through grants, donations and fundraising ventures.
We are understandably extremely grateful to all of our supporters.

We also truly appreciate the valuable support of trucking companies in the ‘Heartland’ area who shift the classroom from school to school voluntarily for us.
Life Education Trust is all about helping our children to grow up with good self-esteem, respect for themselves and others, and maintain a healthy body by making healthy choices. Life Education is totally community funded. The cost of operating the mobile classroom and delivering the Life Education programmes to the primary and intermediate schools in the ‘Heartland’ region is high. That is why we need your help.
We would like to invite you to join the Life Education experience and be part of something truly special. By contributing $400 a year ($33.33 a month) you can become part of our Harold Club. Our aim is to encourage people or businesses to make a regular contribution to the Harold Club and in doing so, ensure some sustainable funds to contribute to the operating costs of our Life Education Trust. You can be confident that all monies received remain in the Heartland Otago Southland Trust.
What can you expect in return?
