Life Education is a charitable trust that educates and empowers children to make healthy choices. We teach children about topics including nutrition, friendships, keeping ourselves safe, our personal identity and helpful and harmful substances.
The Western bay of Plenty Trust has two mobile classrooms that teach over 12,000 children from Katikati to Pukehina. Our Educators are full time, registered specialist teachers that support schools and deliver the programme. The Trust is run by a small group of dedicated volunteers who are charged with raising funds to support the delivery of the programme. We are seeking someone to support our volunteer Trustees.

As the local face of Life Education, your ability to build relationships with local schools and understand them as the customer will be key to successfully meeting their needs and ultimately assist with their children’s learning.

The successful applicant will be a qualified teacher, with full registration and a current practicing certificate and be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of the NZ curriculum. It is advantageous if the applicant has work experience outside the classroom and education sector to help demonstrate relationship management skills and practices working with a regular client base. But above all, we’re looking for a passionate teacher who wants to make a difference in children's lives.
