The Life Education Auckland Central Trust is among the 32 community Trusts that help deliver the Life Education message in our community. We’re responsible for providing the Life Education mobile classrooms and ongoing support, ensuring that ownership stays within the community.
In 2019 we reached 9,888 children in 30 schools.

Originally from Ireland, Sylvia has been living in New Zealand for the past 15 years. Her husband, Tony, is a Kiwi and works as a plumber and gasfitter in Ellerslie.
Sylvia has an Honours degree in Environmental Science and a Grad Dip. in Primary Teaching, teaching at St Joseph's Schools in Otahuhu for five years.
After seeing how excited her students used to get before and during a visit to the Life Ed classroom, and how the messages taught resonated with the children long after their visit, she knew this was something she wanted to be a part of in the future.
"I feel very privileged to have been chosen as an Educator for Central Auckland and I can’t wait to meet the children and teachers in this area and get to know Harold better, of course.”
Kia ora I’m Tash and it’s a real privilege to be one of the Central Auckland Educators.
I started my teaching career in Mt Albert and have since spent my years teaching in Aotearoa, volunteering overseas in Africa and Brazil, and working in the Northern Territories in a remote Aboriginal community. I am passionate about education and supporting the needs of our tamariki. I believe in the wonderful mahi Life Education is doing across our nation through inspiring our tamariki and rangatahi to make positive choices.
