Nicky Ries

Originally from Taranaki, I trained later in life and have had the opportunity to teach in Wellington, Taranaki, and Hamilton. I'm passionate about creating supportive and engaging learning environments where tamariki and rangatahi can build confidence and thrive. At the heart of my teaching is a dedication to promoting a healthy, active lifestyle and encouraging tamariki and rangatahi to develop lifelong habits that support both their physical and mental wellbeing.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy activities that reflect and reinforce these values – the outdoors, surfing, playing football, and spending time at the beach, as well as connecting with family and friends.
