Kia ora koutou!
Ko Piripiri te maunga.
Ko Waitohi te awa.
Ko Te Ātiawa ki te tau ihu te iwi.
Ko Waikawa te marae.
Ko Phoebe Edwards ahau.

It feels pretty special to bring my mahi back to the community that raised me. This place shaped me through my teen years, and after time in the wider Wellington region and sunny Hawke’s Bay, I’m back home in Ōtaki with my husband and our three tamariki.

Since finishing school in 2006, I’ve lived and breathed early childhood education. That spark has only grown brighter, and now it’s powering this next chapter with Life Education.
I still remember the magic of my own Life Education visits as a kid, that buzz of curiosity you carry out the door after your visits and I can’t wait to recreate that for our tamariki across Kāpiti–Horowhenua, working alongside kaiako and communities to make learning meaningful, relevant, and fun.

Our local sponsors

Kāpiti Horowhenua Life Education Trust would like to say “thank you” to all our major sponsors and supporters. It is our vision to see as many primary school children in the Kāpiti-Horowhenua region as possible and teach them key fundamental life skills. Thank you all so much for helping to put smiles on the faces of our young children. You are all amazing!
