The Life Education Wairarapa and South Hawke's Bay Trust has been successfully delivering the Life Education programme to children throughout this region.
In 2019 this Trust reached 2,068 children in 29 schools. The Trustees and Educator work hard to raise funds to keep the mobile classroom running and to ensure that all operational costs and educational expenditure is covered.
In 2016, Sam made the move to New Zealand from the UK, where she was a classroom teacher, lead science teacher, Director of Studies, then Headteacher of a prep school. Sam's own three children – now adults – live here in the North Island so the decision to make a major ‘life change’ was an exciting, positive one. Prior to moving to Hawkes Bay, Sam worked as a Deputy Principal at St George’s Prep School in Whanganui.
Sam loves her life here in New Zealand for so many reasons: the outdoor activities, the Kiwi optimism, the fact that it is OK to chat to strangers without them thinking you are a weirdo …. She thoroughly enjoys the culture, the fresh air and the feel-good factor of living in NZ!
