The Life Education West Coast Trust covers one of the largest geographic areas in New Zealand, over 5000 kilometres.
They now reach 100% of the schools from Haast to Karamea. In 2018 they saw 3,049 children in 45 schools.
The hard working Trustees continue to raise much needed funds to keep the mobile classroom running.
Nicola studied Primary Teaching at the Dunedin Teacher’s College and has taught in Otago, Canterbury, the Gold Coast and the West Coast for her teaching career. She has worked as a Facilitator for the Digital Curriculum on the West Coast for the past three years.
Nicola has always loved working with staff, students and their whanau and feels privileged to be part of their learning journey. She has always enjoyed Harold’s visits and believes they can really enhance the students inquiry into learning, so feels very privileged to now be able to deliver the magic of the Life Education classroom into schools on the West Coast from Haast to Karamea.
"You never know what each day is going to bring and it is so worthwhile to see the enthusiasm as we share the positive messages of Life Education with the wonderful students and teachers in our region," says Nicola.
