Honouring a Visionary. Inspiring a Future.

Following the passing of Trevor Grice in December 2024, Life Education Trust New Zealand is proud to announce the Trevor Grice Legacy Award—a tribute to the extraordinary vision, compassion, and lifelong dedication of our founder, Trevor Grice CNZM.

Trevor’s unwavering belief in the potential of every young person laid the foundation for Life Education in Aotearoa. His legacy lives on in the thousands of tamariki and rangatahi who have been empowered through education, self-belief, and the message that they are valued and loved.

This award recognises and individual or group who embody Trevor’s spirit—those who go above and beyond to uplift the wellbeing of young people in their communities.

Recipients will be carefully selected by a Life Education panel for their outstanding contribution to Life Education across New Zealand.

“Raising a child without love is like trying to clap with one hand.”
— Trevor Grice

The Trevor Grice Legacy Award will be presented each year at our mid-year conference as a symbol of gratitude, inspiration, and hope for future generations.
