Educator Vacancy - North Canterbury - Full Time - Maternity Cover

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher to join our team as an Educator in the North Canterbury area, through the Hurunui District and down to Belfast and surrounds. This maternity cover role will commence in early 2020, and training can begin in late 2019 if it suits the preferred candidate.

This is an opportunity to make a genuine difference to children’s health and wellbeing and bring your creativity to an innovative teaching environment. Through our professional development programme you’ll cultivate new skills, and you'll be able to maintain your teacher registration as we are accredited by the NZ Teachers Council.

You’ll be joining New Zealand’s leading health education provider held in high regard by schools. The Ministry of Education’s National Monitoring Study of Student Assessment (NMSSA) found 86% of New Zealand’s primary and Intermediate schools choose to use Life Education as their health specialists.

As our local face, your ability to build relationships with schools and understand them as the customer will be key to successfully meeting their needs and to ultimately assist with their children’s learning. You will also have strong organisational skills, enabling you to plan in advance, maximise your teaching time and help us to achieve our goal of reaching every child, every year.

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher to join our team as an Educator in the Auckland West area. During the year you will cover the Trust’s region, from Whenuapai to New Lynn and Blockhouse Bay - with lots of your time spent in the areas of New Lynn, Henderson and Te Atatu.

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a talented teacher to take the over the reins as our Educator in the Gisborne area. During the year you will cover the Trust’s large region of Gisborne, East Cape and south to Wairoa.

Educator Vacancy – Counties Manukau – Fixed Term Maternity Cover - Full Time

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a talented teacher to take the reins of one our Counties Manukau mobile classrooms. This fixed term maternity cover role will start in late January 2020, working through until 17th April 2020.

We’ve made significant strides to ensure we’re at the forefront of education in NZ, and so we’re looking for a motivated, innovative and talented teacher looking to take the next step beyond a classroom and be part of this journey in Counties Manukau.

This is an opportunity to make your mark working with schools in Franklin and Counties Manukau, to empower children to make healthy choices.

The successful applicant will be a qualified teacher, with full registration and be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of the NZ Curriculum. It is advantageous if you have work experience outside the classroom to help demonstrate relationship management skills. But above all, we’re looking for a passionate teacher who wants to make a difference in children's lives.
