Administration and Accounts - Wellington - Part Time

We have an opportunity available in our team - so now is your chance to join a great organisation passionate about their work. The role is part time 15-20 hours per week, ideally commencing in February.

As is often said, the front desk is the face of the organisation and, therefore, the most valuable role. If you are excited at the idea of being involved in an iconic brand that’s all about community and people and not about selling widgets, then you might be the one!

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accounts support using Xero– supporting our Finance Manager with invoicing and reconciliation
  • Stock and resource distribution
  • Maintain database information
  • Coordination and planning support with events such as conferences

We're looking for someone who is adaptable, organised and enjoys working with a range of people. You’ll be driven by a strong commitment to ‘customer service’ and you’ll gain satisfaction from knowing you have just solved someone’s problem whether large or small.

You need to be able to self-direct, work independently but collaboratively. To do so you’ll be able to draw from past experience in a similar role that included financial processes and demonstrate familiarity with Xero. You’ll also bring your ideas and experience to help us improve how we manage our administration functions. In return we’ll offer a flexible and supportive work environment to get the right appointment. We’re based on the outskirts of the CBD in Thorndon.

If you’d love to be the one to work with us, please send your CV and cover letter to John O’Connell, Chief Executive, Life Education Trust (NZ) vacancies@lifeeducation.org.nz – by 5pm Friday 13 December.
